JUSTIN ORR

Justin was a student-athlete, playing basketball at Murray State and Ohio University, graduating in 2009. Justin was team captain his senior year, under head coach, John Gross. Justin is uniquely positioned to understand the challenges facing student-athletes upon graduation, being one himself. Prior to founding Life After College Athletics, Justin worked as a National Enterprise Sales Executive across a variety of telecommunications companies, including AT&T and Comcast. During his time with these companies, Justin wrote and presented sales proposals customized to customer’s needs and helped to increase brand awareness through onsite presentations. Justin is currently the Head Assistant Mens Basketball Varsity Coach for Schaumburg High School in the Greater Chicago Area. Justin holds a B.A. in Communications from Ohio University.
BRECON ORR
Brecon is the Executive Director, Design, Training and Development with Amplify Education. During her time with the company, Brecon has led a team that has designed numerous online and in-person professional development sessions for 5,000+ participants per year, using the ADDIE design process, with an average rating of 4.9 out of 5.0 on survey questions related to session design. Brecon also supports onboarding and ongoing training for all Professional Learning Specialists that deliver the training sessions. In addition, Brecon has partnered with school districts across the country to develop their approach to professional development to ensure successful implementation of Amplify products. Finally, Brecon has worked facilitating professional development for teachers, leaders and coaches in a variety of settings.
